PRESS RELEASE
Yenagoa, Bayelsa State – 4 November 2025
The National Chairman of the Third Phase of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Gen. Elaye ThankGod Dollar Slaboh, on Monday, 3 November 2025, received a high-powered delegation of Phase 1 camp leaders for a courtesy visit at his office in Yenagoa.
Fresh from the electrifying defection ceremony of Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, to the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Samson Siasia Sports Complex—attended on the express directive of PAP Administrator, Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro—Gen. Slaboh carved out time from his packed schedule to personally host the visitors.
The delegation, led by Phase 1 National Chairman Gen. Aroni and comprising national executives and camp leaders from across the region, held candid talks on critical PAP challenges and the broader developmental needs of the Niger Delta.
While Phases 2 and 3 have long enjoyed seamless synergy, this landmark engagement folds Phase 1 into the alliance, creating an unbreakable tri-phase front committed to delegate welfare, skills acquisition, and sustainable regional growth.
Gen. Slaboh—also Section Coordinator of Tantita Security Services and Bayelsa State Coordinator of High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (Tompolo)’s Door-to-Door Campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 Agenda—extended a warm welcome to Gen. Aroni’s team. “We can only get it right by speaking with one voice,” he declared, pledging total collaboration to fulfil the PAP’s mandate of lasting peace, security, and prosperity in the Niger Delta.
_A New Dawn of Unity_
Today’s handshake across phases is more than protocol—it is the birth of a revitalised Amnesty Programme, turbo-charged for empowerment, job creation, and inclusive growth. With Governor Diri now flying the APC flag after his triumphant reception by Vice President Kashim Shettima and top party stalwarts, and President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda in full swing, the Niger Delta is primed for unprecedented federal investment, infrastructure breakthroughs, and economic renaissance.
