We wish to respectfully inform Mr President and the distinguished members of the Senate to the rumours currently circulating online regarding the possible revocation of the pipeline surveillance contract being executed.
It is important to clearly state that there has been no official confirmation from the Federal Government regarding any cancellation of this contract. What the public is witnessing instead appears to be a wave of misinformation, propaganda, and envy-driven narratives being spread by certain individuals who do not mean well for the peace and stability of the Niger Delta.
The truth must be told.
Since Tompolo, through Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, was entrusted with the responsibility of protecting Nigeria’s vital oil pipelines across the Niger Delta, the results have been visible and undeniable:
• Oil production in Nigeria has significantly improved.
• Illegal oil bunkering has drastically reduced.
• Pipeline vandalism has been curtailed.
• Sea piracy and other criminal activities within the waterways have greatly declined.
• The Niger Delta region has experienced a level of peace and stability not seen for many years.
These are not mere claims; they are realities acknowledged by communities, stakeholders, and observers within the region.
Therefore, we ask a very simple question to those who are spreading rumours and working behind the scenes to discredit this effort:
Is there anyone in the Niger Delta today who can perform this critical assignment better than Tompolo?
If such a person exists, we challenge them to come forward and identify themselves.
Sadly, it has become common for some individuals within the region to pull their own brothers down out of envy and selfish interest. Instead of supporting progress and protecting national assets, they prefer to create confusion simply because illegal bunkering, oil theft, and other criminal activities have become extremely difficult under the current surveillance system.
Mr. President should also be aware that many of these voices of criticism are not acting independently. There are strong indications that some of them are being sponsored by political opponents who seek to create tension and instability in the Niger Delta region.
Their objective is simple:
To weaken a system that is currently blocking illegal oil bunkering and preventing the theft of Nigeria’s oil wealth.
The truth remains that with the presence of Tompolo and Tantita Security, those who once benefited from the illegal exploitation of Nigeria’s oil resources have now lost their opportunity to continue such activities.
That is why these attacks are being sponsored.
Our message to Mr. President is clear and sincere:
Please do not allow these distractions to divert your administration from policies and strategies that are already producing positive results.
The pipeline surveillance system currently being managed by Tompolo has proven to be effective, strategic, and beneficial to the Nigerian economy.
Without fear of contradiction, Tompolo remains the best man for this job.
As your administration continues to work towards national stability and economic recovery, the people of the Niger Delta remain committed to peace, development, and cooperation with the Federal Government.
As you prepare for your future political journey and re-election, it is important for you to know that the Niger Delta stands with you, and with committed partners like Tompolo working to maintain peace and protect national assets, the region remains a pillar of support for your leadership.
We also advise members of the public to remain vigilant against misinformation and distance themselves from individuals whose only agenda is to spread division and sabotage the progress of the Niger Delta and the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Niger Delta needs unity, stability, and continued progress — not envy, propaganda, and internal sabotage.
Let the good work continue.
