In a remarkable show of commitment to economic empowerment in the Niger Delta, the leadership of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited has empowered 80 business owners with the sum of ₦10 million each, totaling ₦800 million.
The initiative, led by the Managing Director of Tantita, Kestin Pondi, is aimed at strengthening local businesses, promoting economic growth, and improving the livelihoods of entrepreneurs across the region.
Reacting to the development, one of the coordinators of Tantita Security Services, Elaye ThankGod Dollar Slaboh, commended the company’s leadership for the impactful gesture.
General Slaboh described the empowerment programme as a bold step toward uplifting communities and supporting indigenous entrepreneurs who play a vital role in the economic stability of the Niger Delta.
According to him, the initiative demonstrates Tantita’s continued commitment not only to securing oil pipelines but also to improving the welfare of people in host communities.
He further praised Kestin Pondi for his visionary leadership and dedication to putting smiles on the faces of many families through meaningful empowerment programmes.
The ₦800 million empowerment scheme is expected to significantly boost small and medium-scale businesses, create more employment opportunities, and stimulate economic activities across the region.
