In a show of party unity and unwavering support, governors elected under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday unanimously passed a vote of confidence on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and officially endorsed him as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections.The historic endorsement took place at the National Policy and Governance Summit organized by the APC, held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The summit was attended by top party leaders, cabinet members, serving governors, National Assembly members, political stakeholders, and thousands of loyal APC supporters from across the country.The motion for the vote of confidence and endorsement was moved by the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma. It was seconded by the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani.
