On this historic occasion of Democracy Day, we, the Executive Members of Genuine Leaders Stakeholders of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), extend our heartfelt congratulations and patriotic solidarity to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, and the esteemed Administrator of the PAP, Dr. Dennis Brutus Otuaro.
Democracy Day is not only a time of remembrance but a reaffirmation of our national commitment to justice, equity, and good governance. It celebrates the collective will of the Nigerian people and the sacrifices made by heroes of democracy.
We salute President Tinubu for his courageous leadership and steadfast commitment to democratic ideals. Under his administration, we have witnessed renewed efforts to build inclusive institutions, secure peace, and promote economic empowerment across all regions, especially the Niger Delta. The appointment of credible leaders like Dr. Dennis Otuaro under the supervision of the NSA is a testament to this administration’s dedication to stability and national reconciliation.
We sincerely commend the exceptional leadership of Dr. Dennis Brutus Otuaro, whose transparent, inclusive, and result-driven approach has brought renewed credibility and impact to the Amnesty Programme. We respectfully bring to the attention of His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, that Dr. Otuaro’s tenure has restored trust among ex-agitators, revitalized key empowerment initiatives, and fostered lasting peace and development in the Niger Delta region. His leadership reflects the true spirit of the Renewed Hope agenda and deserves full support and continued confidence.
We also appreciate the tireless work of the NSA, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for his strategic role in ensuring that the Amnesty Programme remains focused on its core mandate of peace, rehabilitation, and reintegration. His support has been instrumental in repositioning the PAP under capable and visionary leadership.
