Town in Kolokuma/Opokuma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, where a man has been apprehended for allegedly murdering his own 6-year-old son and burying him in a nearby forest.The suspect, reportedly a native of Delta State, has been living in Sabageria for some time. According to community sources, the man shockingly confessed to killing the child, claiming the boy was an “evil child sent to delay his success in life.

Residents say he justified the gruesome act by stating that eliminating the boy was the only way to secure his future.The horrific crime came to light after concerned youths in the community noticed suspicious activity and confronted the man. Upon intense questioning, he admitted to the murder and led the youths to the shallow grave where he buried the child’s remains.
