The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Otuaro, has thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for supporting the agency’s 2025/2026 foreign postgraduate scholarship scheme, which has seen 161 Niger Delta beneficiaries deployed to universities in the United Kingdom.
Otuaro, who also praised the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, said the deployment aligns with Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and demonstrates the president’s genuine love for the Niger Delta.
He urged stakeholders in the region to reciprocate by backing Tinubu’s 2027 reelection bid, stressing that the president has shown commitment to bridging the human capacity development gap.
Joining in commendation, the National Chairman of the Third Phase PAP, General Elaye ThankGod Dollar Slaboh, described the scholarship rollout as “a bold step towards empowering Niger Delta youths.” He encouraged beneficiaries to be good ambassadors and return to contribute to the region’s growth.
