General Elaye ThankGod Dollar Slaboh, National Chairman of the Third Phase Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), has drawn attention to some misleading videos and social media reports falsely alleging that High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, issued a 21-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to release the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mr. Nnamdi Kanu.

In a strong rebuttal, Gen. Slaboh described the reports as false, mischievous, and deliberately fabricated by enemies of peace and unity to mislead the public and tarnish the image of High Chief Tompolo.

According to him, “There is no truth whatsoever in the viral claim. High Chief Government Ekpemupolo has neither issued nor authorized any statement demanding the release of Nnamdi Kanu. Those spreading such falsehoods are simply attention seekers attempting to exploit his name and influence for selfish motives.

He further emphasized that Tompolo’s leadership and vision remain deeply rooted in the promotion of peace, unity, and sustainable development of the Niger Delta region, as well as the protection of vital national assets through lawful engagement and dialogue with relevant government agencies.

According to Slaboh, Tompolo is our leader, and any attempt to drag his name into the mud will not be accepted,” he warned. “Those who think they can use propaganda or social media to stain his reputation are wasting their time. We will continue to defend his name and legacy as a symbol of peace and progress.

Slaboh also noted that Tompolo has no ideological or operational connection to Nnamdi Kanu or any separatist movement, stressing that his life’s mission has always been to advance national unity through dialogue and development, not division.

Tompolo is a patriotic Nigerian who believes in peace, mutual respect, and nation-building,” Slaboh added. “He has consistently demonstrated this through his commitment to the Presidential Amnesty Programme and his role in securing oil and gas installations for the good of the entire country.”

The PAP Chairman therefore urged the general public, media organizations, and all peace-loving Nigerians to disregard the fake ultimatum report and treat it as a calculated attempt to create unnecessary tension and discredit a man whose name has become synonymous with stability and progress in the Niger Delta.

Slaboh reaffirmed that High Chief Government Ekpemupolo remains focused on the path of peace, dialogue, and national development and will not be distracted by propaganda or cheap blackmail from those who profit from misinformation.
