Workers First: Newly Elected TUC Chairman Extends Gratitude, Unveils Vision for Labour Prosperity.

The newly elected Chairman of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Bayelsa State Council, Comrade Muneneyi Edwin Fefegha, has expressed profound gratitude to all individuals and groups who contributed to the success of the 2025 TUC election.

Comrade Fefegha commended the Electoral Committee (ELECO), delegates, electorates, labour stakeholders, and supporters for their dedication, transparency, and unwavering confidence in his leadership.

I sincerely appreciate everyone who contributed in one way or the other to bring this victory to reality. Your trust and collective effort made this possible.”

He assured workers in Bayelsa State that his administration will prioritize their welfare, rights, and dignity.

> “I and my team will ensure that the rights of workers in the state are fully protected. What is due to workers will be given to them without compromise. We will engage relevant authorities, stakeholders, and sister unions to ensure fairness, justice, and improved welfare for every worker.

Comrade Fefegha emphasized collaboration, unity, and responsible leadership as pillars of the new labour direction in Bayelsa.
