Every farming season in Ogoja, the story repeats itself — farmers invest their hard-earned money, only for Fulani herdsmen to invade farmlands and destroy crops with their cattle.
Residents describe themselves as peace-loving people, but warn that their patience should not be taken for granted.
The destruction has reportedly become too frequent, too severe, and too costly for families who depend on agriculture for survival.
“We are tired. The quietness is too much. The destruction is too much. Enough is enough,” the community lamented.
