The people of Bille Kingdom continue to lament over sons abduction.Bille is a community in Rivers State, Nigeria specifically, located in the Degema Local Government Area Of River State,has been in a dilemma for the past weeks now,were mothers and families, remain in anguish as their children, kidnapped by sea pirates two weeks ago, are yet to be released. The incident, which occurred during a routine riverine transit, has left the community in sorrow and fear.Despite the outcry and calls for urgent intervention, there has been no concrete update from security agencies regarding the whereabouts of the kidnapped victims or any steps towards their rescue.The mothers, in tears, have called on the Rivers State Government, the Nigerian Navy, and other security operatives to intensify efforts in securing the release of their children. “We are tired of crying. We want our children back,” one mother lamented during a press conference in Port Harcourt.The Bille Kingdom Council of Chiefs, youth groups, and other concerned citizens have condemned the attack and called for immediate deployment of marine security forces to patrol the waterways and curb the growing insecurity.This heartbreaking situation reflects a wider pattern of neglect and insecurity in the Niger Delta waterways.
