Subject: Response to Anonymous Defamatory Message, Support for Dr. Otuaro, and a Call for Unity
Our attention has been drawn to a disturbing and defamatory message circulated on social media on May 26, 2025, by an anonymous individual, allegedly using aliases such as Who Knows Tomorrow, Ebi John, Occasion Boy, Davidson, Princewill Kotingo, and XDoggy.
This faceless writer deliberately mentioned the names of key leaders of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) Third Phase, including ourselves, in a baseless and malicious attack. Let it be known to all stakeholders and the general public that we are the authentic leaders of the PAP Third Phase and serve as executive members working under our National Chairman, Elaye Slaboh.
We stand firmly behind Chairman Elaye Slaboh as we collectively work toward achieving the goals of the Amnesty Programme — not for selfish interest, but for the peace, progress, and development of the Niger Delta. Resorting to insults and falsehoods only shows the writer’s frustration and desperation to divide us. But we will not be shaken.
On the False Allegations:
- Claim of Monthly Payments:
The allegation that Dr. Dennis Otuaro pays Elaye Slaboh ₦10 million monthly is false. We challenge the writer to present concrete proof of such claims. If not, the public should disregard these lies for what they are — a failed attempt to discredit genuine leaders. - Questioning Elaye Slaboh’s Leadership:
It is misleading to claim Elaye is not a camp leader. If he is not, from which camp does he receive his monthly stipend? Who is his supposed camp leader? We demand clarity backed by facts. - Tantita Security Engagement:
We, as leaders, were actively involved in facilitating opportunities under the Tantita surveillance job. This role is aimed at securing critical oil infrastructure across the Niger Delta — not a personal benefit, but a collective responsibility we share with Chairman Elaye.
Clarifying Dangerous Rumors:
We also address recent false rumors being spread that Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro intends to hijack beneficiaries’ opportunities and divert them to his hometown. Let it be clear: this is a lie. Such divisive talk is being spread by enemies of progress, and we advise those involved to desist immediately.
Dr. Otuaro is committed to empowering all leaders and beneficiaries of the Amnesty Programme, without bias. His leadership has already brought visible progress:
Leadership training is scheduled to commence soon.
Vocational training is about to kick off.
Scholarship deployments are underway.
Empowerment for trained beneficiaries is currently ongoing.
Laptops have been distributed to final-year amnesty students across the region.
These are not promises — they are tangible actions. We urge all beneficiaries to join hands with him to strengthen and expand these efforts.
A Call for Calm and Unity:
We, the Ex-Agitators Genuine Leaders Forum, urge all beneficiaries to remain calm, focused, and united. Do not allow divisive voices or paid agents to derail the peace and progress we have all worked hard to achieve. We will not tolerate any attempt to destabilize the office of Dr. Dennis Otuaro or undermine the programme.
We repeat: if the writer of the defamatory message does not issue a public apology and retract their false statements, we will pursue legal and investigative action to hold them accountable.
Appreciation to Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro:
We, the executive members of the Ex-Agitators Genuine Leaders Forum, sincerely thank Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro for all he has done for the Amnesty Programme so far. His efforts have brought visible improvements, and his commitment to justice and inclusion is appreciated across the region.
We also use this opportunity to plead for continued support and more empowerment for all leaders and beneficiaries of the program. Once again, thank you, sir. God bless you.
We reaffirm our dedication to peace, fairness, and regional development, and will continue to defend the integrity of the Amnesty Programme.
Signed,
Ex-Agitators Genuine Leaders Forum
