Afrobeats sensation and two-time Grammy nominee, Asake, has set the music world abuzz with the announcement of his upcoming studio album titled “Money.” The hitmaker broke the news via a post on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account on Thursday, June 5, 2025, sending fans and music critics into a frenzy.

The announcement comes just months after his global “Work of Art” tour wrapped up, during which Asake sold out major venues in London, New York, and Johannesburg. With “Money”, he is expected to delve deeper into the themes of hustle, ambition, fame, and the price of success — a story arc that mirrors his meteoric rise in the Nigerian music industry.
Known for hits like “Sungba”, “Peace Be Unto You (PBUY)”, and “Lonely At The Top”, Asake (real name Ahmed Ololade) has become a symbol of modern Afrofusion, effortlessly blending Fuji, Amapiano, and street-hop into chart-topping records.
