Dear Camp Leaders and Beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme,
On this remarkable occasion of Democracy Day, I extend my warmest greetings to all leaders and beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, and to the entire Niger Delta region.
Democracy is the foundation of our collective freedom, justice, and development. It is through democracy that our voices are heard, our rights protected, and our future shaped. As beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, we must never lose sight of the peace we have built, the progress we have made, and the unity we must continue to uphold.
On this day, I express deep appreciation to key leaders whose commitment and tireless efforts have continued to uplift our cause and strengthen the gains of peace:
To His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his enduring support for the Amnesty Programme and the overall development of the Niger Delta — we thank you, Your Excellency.
To High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), for your unwavering defense of peace, protection of our waterways, and empowerment of our people — your impact is legendary.
To Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, for your focused leadership, inclusiveness, and dedication to ensuring the programme delivers on its mandate — we stand with you.
To Dr. Godfrey Pondi and Dr. Kestin Pondi, for your strong voices, loyalty to the region, and consistent efforts in building bridges of peace and empowerment — your efforts do not go unnoticed.
To all camp leaders, I charge you to remain beacons of peace and direction. To all beneficiaries, let us use this opportunity to recommit ourselves to personal development and the progress of our region.
Together, let’s continue to safeguard the peace we’ve fought for and deepen the democratic values that unite us.
