In a heartwarming act of compassion, the National Chairman of the Third Phase Presidential Amnesty Programme, General Elaye ThankGod Dollar Slaboh, together with members of his humanitarian initiative, the Touch Life Foundation, extended a hand of love and care to special members of society in Bayelsa State.
The visit, which took place at the Daisy Home for the Special People, igbogene, and the Gloryland Home, Opolo, was aimed at supporting the welfare and well-being of the less privileged and appreciating the tireless efforts of volunteers who dedicate their time to caring for them.
Accompanied by a committed team of Touch Life Foundation members, General Slaboh presented cash donations, assorted food items, and toiletries to the management of both homes. These gestures, he explained, were part of his ongoing commitment to “touch lives, inspire hope, and bring dignity to those in need.”
Addressing caregivers, General Slaboh commended the selflessness of those working in the facilities, noting that their dedication plays a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of the less privileged. He urged other well-meaning individuals and organizations to emulate such acts of kindness, especially in times of economic hardship.
“This is not just about giving,” General Slaboh said. “It is about reminding them that they are valued, loved, and not forgotten by society.”
Also speaking during the outreach, General Vicas Ebiama, the National Spokesperson of the Third Phase Presidential Amnesty Programme, commended the kind gesture of General Slaboh. He described the initiative as a shining example of true leadership and compassion, urging others to emulate him in order to make meaningful impacts in society.
In the same vein, Chief General Inko Bright-Star, popularly known as General Who Knows Tomorrow, praised the effort of General Slaboh, describing it as “the right step in the right direction.” He emphasized that such acts of kindness should be encouraged and supported by all well-meaning members of society.
Caregivers at both homes expressed joy and gratitude for the support, describing the visit as timely and uplifting.
With initiatives like this, General Slaboh, alongside the dedicated members of the Touch Life Foundation, continue to strengthen their reputation as beacons of hope, touching lives across the Niger Delta and beyond.
