Leadership of The Third Phase presidential amnesty programme felicitate With Godfrey Tare Pondi on His Chieftaincy Title As The Ibe-Ebidouwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom.

The leadership of the Third Phase Presidential Amnesty Programme, under the direction of General Elaye Dollar Slaboh, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Godfrey Tare Pondi, General Manager (Operations) of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, following his conferment with the esteemed chieftaincy title of Ibe-Ebidouwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom.

The title was conferred by His Royal Majesty, King Oboro Gbaraun II, Aketekpe Agadagba, the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, during a grand traditional ceremony held at the royal palace. The conferment, witnessed by prominent sons and daughters of the Ijaw nation, reflects Pondi’s outstanding record of selfless service to Gbaramatu Kingdom, the wider Ijaw nation, and the Niger Delta at large.

As part of the rite of conferment, Chief Godfrey Tare Pondi was formally introduced to the revered traditional institution of Gbaramatu Kingdom. This official presentation to His Royal Majesty and the council of chiefs symbolizes his full integration into the kingdom’s traditional leadership structure, further strengthening his bond with the people and the throne.

General Slaboh, in his goodwill message, lauded Chief Pondi’s enormous contributions to human capital development, infrastructural growth, and the general wellbeing of the Niger Delta people, describing the conferment as not only well-deserved but a testament to his enduring legacy.

According to Slaboh, the title Ibe-Ebidouwei  meaning “the Light of Gbaramatu Kingdom”  perfectly captures Chief Pondi’s life of good deeds, community empowerment, and leadership.

“We are immensely proud of Chief Godfrey Tare Pondi. His tireless commitment to the upliftment of his people has made him a beacon of hope across the region. His elevation by His Royal Majesty, King Oboro Gbaraun II, is a clear endorsement of his deep love for the kingdom and the Niger Delta,” Slaboh stated.
