Residents of Bayelsa State were thrown into shock today following a chilling confession by a young boy who allegedly attempted a ritual for quick wealth under the guidance of a powerful native doctor.
According to eyewitness Prince Roland Godspower, the boy revealed that he approached the native doctor, who promised him riches but demanded a wicked sacrifice. The first stage of the ritual required him to sleep with his own mother after being given a strange concoction — with strict instructions never to tell anyone, especially her.
The boy, overwhelmed with fear and guilt, confessed the ordeal to his mother instead of carrying out the task in secrecy. Shockingly, rather than rejecting the abomination, the mother reportedly accepted it, saying:
👉 “If this will bring us great wealth, then I am willing to accept it.”
With her consent, the boy eventually committed the act. But when he returned to the native doctor, the man declared the ritual broken, warning that since the secret had been exposed, the spirits now demanded a blood sacrifice: either the boy’s life or his mother’s.
Terrified and broken, the boy fled to a church in Bayelsa today to confess, begging God for mercy and protection from the looming consequence.
This disturbing incident has sparked heated conversations in the state, with many condemning the rise of ritual practices among youths desperate for wealth.
