The Reform Ex-Agitators Forum has been described as a faceless and unrecognized group allegedly sponsored by individuals threatened by the ongoing reforms and verification exercise within the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP).According to the National Chairman of the Third Phase Presidential Amnesty Programme, Gen. Elaye Dollar Slaboh, the group is neither known nor recognized by beneficiaries or delegates of the programme. He stated that their planned protest is a calculated attempt to divert attention from the critical reforms and to pressure the leadership into halting the ongoing verification—an exercise aimed at sanitizing the system and blocking leakages.Gen. Slaboh emphasized that those behind the group are beneficiaries of illicit proceeds siphoned from the resources meant for legitimate delegates, and that their objective is to derail the progress made so far.He called on all security agencies to launch a thorough investigation into the activities of the group and ensure that they are not allowed to stage any form of protest until the investigations are concluded.Meanwhile, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, has been widely commended for repositioning the programme through innovative strategies in training, education, vocational skills, and human capital development.Since assuming office, Dr. Otuaro has introduced dynamic reforms that have positively shifted the direction of the PAP, restoring credibility and purpose to its operations.
